Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is Butterfly Beauty. This is a simple card that I won’t spend much time explaining. If you have any questions about the stamps or anything else, leave a comment and I will be happy to respond.
I used a child’s watercolor metallic paint set on watercolor paper for the background. After water coloring and drying the paper, VersaMark was used to stamp the butterfly and flowers. They were then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used a white pigment ink pad diluted with water on my craft sheet to color in the butterfly and flowers. The accents were done with pink from another child’s watercolor nonmetallic paint set. The Thank You stamp was inked with VersaColor in Peony. This was assembled on cardstock from Michael’s Recollection paper to make a 4 /14 X 5 1/2 inch card.
