Gelatos on Corrugate

This card with a gelatos technique is not what I call pretty, but it has character, don’t you think?  Kassidy’s objective was to try the gelatos on corrugated cardboard.  I think this technique would make a nice looking wall hanging if rustic embellishments were added.                                                      26632835035_1d54a9c1df_n

Gesso was painted on the Tim Holtz Corrugate, leaving the outer edges untouched.  A Faber Castell Green Tea Gelato was blended on the corrugate at the bottom with a baby wipe.  A Cotton Candy Gelato was blended with a wet wipe at the top.  A Guava Gelato was rubbed on butterfly stamps.  The stamps were then spritzed with water and pressed to the corrugate.  This piece of art was attached to the ring-bound Gelato techniques card collection.
You win some, you lose some, but it is what it is – a technique card.  This is one of the many cards Kassidy is including in her gelatos techniques card collection.
