Hi There Crafty Friends,
Our granddaughter, Kassidy, age 13, made teacher appreciation cards to give to her middle school teachers. We spent one Sunday afternoon making cards, and she got these done and then some. Let this inspire you to get some nice cards out to teachers who are in your life right now. If a teacher is good, you probably have no idea the extra hours (s)he spends behind the scenes preparing for class. Our daughter, Kassidy’s mom, teaches first grade. She is usually at school from 7am till 6pm five days a week, plus she takes work home. During time off, such as spring break, she takes work home AND goes in a day or two to work in her classroom, making it a nice learning environment for the children.
These cards are all the same size, although they may not look like it in the pictures. A picture was taken of each card individually and made into a collage for this display. I’ll give a link below where you can do this on your desktop, laptop or smart phone.
I think Kassidy did a nice job creating her cards. When creating together, I give her tips, but she does her own thing. Kassidy is an independent thinker and likes to come up with her own creations. These cards were easy to make. I hope you make a card or two for teachers you know. Because of a teacher (even if the teacher was your mom), you can read this.
