Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Pattern Paper

Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid’s Challenge

Hello Friends,

Here is a sweet card Kassidy made using Tim Holtz Bird Crazy Stamps.  She stamped them on Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink, since this ink is compatible with Copic markers.  The paper is very white, not dingy as it looks in this picture.  She then used Copic Sketch Markers to color the birds.  Kassidy is learning to use shadowing with her coloring.  She said the sun is directly overhead, and I replied, “That’s 12:00 noon.”  So she blended the tops of the birds lighter in color than the bodies and put the shadows directly underneath the birds.

The background paper is from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6X6 inch paper pad and cut to 5.5 X 4.25 inches.  This was mounted with Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner Tape to a 5.5 X 4.25 white folded card

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Banner Greetings Clear Stamp Set and was stamped with Memento Black Ink on the same white cardstock.  The papers that back the sentiment are Simon Says Stamp Green Apple and Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink.  They are adhered with the same tape runner as mentioned above.

I think Kassidy’s card turned out A-OK.  What do you think?  Please press the LIKE button to encourage Kass in her card making and leave a nice comment.  Thank you so much for your kindness and for having a look.
