Hello there,
My term on the Design Team with Strawberry Jude Stamps is up. I’ve done two terms of three months each. I’ve enjoyed it. I’ll miss it. I learned a lot. I want to show you the last card I designed for the company. Jewel is the owner/creator, and her layered strawberries look so much like the actual fruit. I wish all the berries in my basket of edible strawberries looked this good!
Aren’t the berries scrumptious looking? I love the way the small strawberries look too. This is the Strawberry Layers stamp set. Click on the picture and it will link you to the website. You can also buy these in Simon Says Stamp shop.
Happy Anniversary is from Strawberry Judes’s stamp set, Couple’s Sentiments.
The white background was made with what I call a Basket Weave. I used the second folder from this set called Lifestyle Crafts Goosebumpz Embossing Folders, Chain. I found this photo online, but it looks like the embossing folders are discontinued.
In the center of the embossed panel, I wanted a plain circle to really make the strawberries the focal point. To do so I used Sizzix – Tim Holtz – Alterations Collection – Embossing Diffuser Set 1 when I ran the embossing folder and cardstock through the Cuttlebug Die-Cut & Emboss Machine.

This card took a lot of time, because I was being very picky, and also I was figuring out the design. Since I’ve listed the supplies used and the inks for the berries, it shouldn’t take you as long to create a similar card. Try using the ink colors you have before you purchase new ones. I thought I would have to buy inks to do the strawberries, but I didn’t. I used what I had. I hope you have a “berry” good time making something with these fabulous berries from Strawberry Jude Stamps. I can’t wait to make another card with them!
Catch you next time,
Tricia
