July 4th Plan As I Go for Memories

Hi,

This planner page is just what the title says.  I set up the planner page on Monday and wrote things down as they came to pass.  In this case, I recorded things only to be able to refer back to them if I needed to remember when I did something.  Also, next Independence Day I can refer back to this year’s planner book to find out what we did on this day of celebration.  When I complete the rest of the week, I will add it to this post.  I wish the writing was easier to read, but this photo was the best of the lot that I took.

July 4 watermarked

In case you can’t make it out, I put a red circle that is crossed out over the camp fire.  My husband was going to cook the hot dogs and a couple of other things outside on the fire pit, but it rained.

Most of the stamps I used are from Technique Tuesday and Strawberry Jude Stamps.  The crossed out circle is from Michael’s Recollection.  The cross may be from Inkadinkado.  I’ve had it a long time, and the set isn’t labeled.  I also used washi tape from Recollections and stickers I’ve had a long time in my stash. I love my BIG Happy Planner with pages that are 8 1/2″ x 11″.   This size is large enough to decorate the pages AND write my TO DO lists and habit trackers.  It has thick pages too, which are necessary so the ink doesn’t go through the paper.   I bought my Happy Planner at Michael’s with a 40% off coupon.  The regular cost is $29.99.

If you don’t use a planner, I recommend you give it a try.  If you like to decorate, doodle, stamp and use washi tape and stickers, you would enjoy keeping a planner.  A planner has helped me complete  the tasks I need to get done when I plan ahead.  It is also a memory keepsake and a date book to refer to when needed.

Happy planning,

Trish
